My lastest victim was a frame and hooks. As you can see they where a bit dark and it just wasn't the right color for my kitchen.
I sprayed painted the frame ivory by Krylon.
Add the glaze and let it sit for 10 minutes and wipe with a soft cloth. I did apply about three coats, but I just used what glaze was left on the paint brush.
I forgot to take a before pictures of these hooks, but they where dark like the frame. I used this gold paint by Rust-Oleum
Once the paint was dried, I applied glaze on the metal and rubbed in with my fingers and wipe with cloth.
I love how these turned out.
They are more noticeable on my wall now. Love it!
Get inspired to take what you have and give it a face-lift and it really does change the look in your home. If you like darker or lighter colors Martha Stewart glaze has a lot of options to choice from. Martha is getting a free plug from me. LOL! I know they are other glazing out there, but this is what I am using for now and I've had great experience with it. Thanks so much for stopping by and I LOVE your SWEET comments!
